Hello guys,
I'm finally back and I'm starting up a new project. Hero engine, I'm sure most of you have heard of it. It's the engine behind Starwars: The Old Republic. I'm starting up a development studio with a Friend of mine, and I'm currently looking for anyone interested in collaborating on a relatively large MMO project. I currently have a hero engine account with 97 free seats left on my Dev team. If anyone is interested in learning more about the project or interested in offering their skills please shoot me an email at jakebarnes1989@gmail.com with SUBJ: DEV TEAM or your area of expertise

We are currently seeking anyone with proven skills in:

3DS max for Asset creating (characters, monsters, weapons, flora/fauna etc. etc.)
~Animating/Rigging experience a Plus.~

Experience Animators/Riggers

Experience FX artists

Programmers: Anyone who already knows Hero Script or existing knowledge of another industry standard programming language who is willing to delve into the HeroScript language.

Experienced story boarders / Writers

Experienced Level Designers

Experienced Musicians or sound engineers

*NOTE* ALL APPLICANTS will be required to submit a portfolio or demonstrate their knowledge in their field of expertise.

People like ~melkorius are making this community look like shit. He is just downloading some 3d models, puts them in to stolen scene. Does not make anything on his own and claims to be the autor. What a fucking piece of shit he is.

Please ban him of the community.

Hi! Can any of you help me? I just updated PCs (to windows 7) and moved to 3ds max 2013. Now when I open the max files that I was working on in max 2011 (on vista), their textures are all broken =(. No .avi texture files seem to be able to open, and all of the textures that I created with different spectral colors over them have lost their color... I have installed a gazillion different codecs in case that is the problem, but it doesn't seem to have helped at all. Anyone have any ideas? It is my major assignment for this year and was almost done...

I have a model that I am making, witch has a few different parts, and the main portion of it has multiple textures applied to small portions. Can someone please refer me to a tutorial witch shows me how to combine all of those parts into one mesh, and how to render all the textures for the model, into one overall texture? Any help would be appreciated. :)

I'm using 3ds Max 2010 x64, and I have tried collapsing the model components together, but that actually screwed up the UVs. :/
